Setting for Netherlands (Netherlands)

Hi we bought your WhoIs module some days ago.

Now we have installed it and want to use is for checking .nl domains

This domain is not in the list.

Do you know how we can configure this?

We tried to find out but always we get back ‘ERROR’

This is the servername: whois.domain-registry.nl

And beneath is the syntax:

commands:

whois <domain> [HTML [NL]]

is <domain> [HTML [NL]]

help [HTML [NL]]

Only domains within the NL tld are accepted.

Hello John, yes i know how configure... i tried to do in this site and now you can check the .nl domains it works well!

You can follow these steps to register the whois server in the module...

1 - Go to the module control panel and select the option "Servers"
2 - Press "Add Server",
3 - Fill the form with this values:

Server: whois.domain-registry.nl
Format: (leave blank)
Limit Keyword: free
Custom Query:(leave blank)
Timeout: 0
TLDs: nl

4 - Press the "Update" link to save the server

5- Go to the module control panel and select the option "TLD's"
6- Press "Add TLD"
7- Fill the form with this values

Active: Checked
TLD: nl

Press Update Button

Now you can check the availability for nl domains

Hello Javier,

No i get an error.

Error

WWW

Whois

Also when i klick on Whois, i get a empty screen with error.
When test on this i see it works fine. I will delete the server and tld and then re-try.
Perhaps it has something todo with the limitations of the whois site. You can only check 3 times a day from one IP-address.

John, if you added a server delete the server and delete the tld too,

Then, try to follow the steps in my previous message and let me know the results,

I checked three or four domains in this site and i can't view any restriction to number of querys to whois nl server,
